Grade 5 Field Trip Project: Step by Step!
Have a list of your five
destinations handy before you begin.
For each
destination
1. Go
to the Encyclopedia Britannica or Factmonster (both at The Dubois Daily) to
find your five facts about your first stop. We talked about many examples in class. Write
them down.
2. Use
your atlas to find the latitude and longitude.
Write this down. Then check your
latitude and longitude by going to
MyNasaData or FindLatitudeLongitude.
3. Use
your atlas to determine the direction and distance to your next stop. Then check your distance by using the
following Google search: “How many miles
between _______ and _______?”
4. Plot your destination on the map Mrs. Dubois provided.
4. Plot your destination on the map Mrs. Dubois provided.
For
